Bhagavad Gita 7.28

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

येषां त्वन्तगतं पापं जनानां पुण्यकर्मणाम्। ते द्वन्द्वमोहनिर्मुक्ता भजन्ते मां दृढव्रताः ॥

yeṣhāṁ tvanta-gataṁ pāpaṁ janānāṁ puṇya-karmaṇām te dvandva-moha-nirmuktā bhajante māṁ dṛiḍha-vratāḥ

But those men of pure deeds, in whom sin is come to an end, they, freed from the delusive pairs of opposites, worship Me, steadfast in vows.

In plain words: Krishna says people who act rightly and have left their wrongs behind become free from this confusion of opposites. They worship him steadily and keep their promises.
