Bhagavad Gita 7.27

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

इच्छाद्वेषसमुत्थेन द्वन्द्वमोहेन भारत। सर्वभूतानि संमोहं सर्गे यान्ति परन्तप ॥

ichchhā-dveṣha-samutthena dvandva-mohena bhārata sarva-bhūtāni sammohaṁ sarge yānti parantapa

By the delusion of the pairs of opposites, sprung from attraction and repulsion, O Bhârata, all beings walk this universe wholly deluded, O Parantapa.

In plain words: Krishna says all beings are confused because they get caught in opposites like pleasure and pain, which come from liking and disliking things. Arjuna is called Bharata (descendant of Bharata) and Parantapa (scorcher of enemies).
