He also was in time the guardian of this world, the lord of all, hidden in all beings. In him the Brahmarshis and the deities are united, and he who knows him cuts the fetters of death asunder.

In plain words: God has always guarded this world. He is the lord of all and hides inside every living being. The great sages and the gods are joined in him. Whoever knows him breaks free from the chains of death.
