The person (purusha), not larger than a thumb, dwelling within, always dwelling in the heart of man, is perceived by the heart, the thought, the mind; they who know it become immortal.

In plain words: The divine Person lives inside every human heart and is pictured as no bigger than a thumb. We can come to know him through our heart, thoughts and mind. Those who truly know him go beyond death.
