There are the worlds of the Asuras covered with blind darkness. Those who have destroyed their self (who perform works, without having arrived at a knowledge of the true Self), go after death to those worlds.

In plain words: There are dark worlds, named after the Asuras, the demons, and they are wrapped in blind darkness. People who go through life only doing things, and never learn who they really are inside, go to those worlds after death.
