Bhagavad Gita 6.27

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

प्रशान्तमनसं ह्येनं योगिनं सुखमुत्तमम्। उपैति शान्तरजसं ब्रह्मभूतमकल्मषम् ॥

praśhānta-manasaṁ hyenaṁ yoginaṁ sukham uttamam upaiti śhānta-rajasaṁ brahma-bhūtam akalmaṣham

Supreme joy is for this Yogi whose mind is peaceful, whose passion-nature is calmed, who is sinless and of the nature of the Eternal.

In plain words: Krishna says the highest joy comes to the yogi whose mind is peaceful and whose strong passions have calmed down. Such a person is free of sin and has become one with the Eternal.
