Bhagavad Gita 5.4

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

सांख्ययोगौ पृथग्बालाः प्रवदन्ति न पण्डिताः। एकमप्यास्थितः सम्यगुभयोर्विन्दते फलम् ॥

sānkhya-yogau pṛithag bālāḥ pravadanti na paṇḍitāḥ ekamapyāsthitaḥ samyag ubhayor vindate phalam

Children, not sages, speak of the Sânkhya and the Yoga as different; he who is duly established in one obtaineth the fruits of both.

In plain words: Krishna says only beginners think Sankhya (the path of knowledge and giving up action) and Yoga (the path of selfless action) are different. Someone who truly follows either one gets the results of both.
