Bhagavad Gita 4.23

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

गतसङ्गस्य मुक्तस्य ज्ञानावस्थितचेतसः। यज्ञायाचरतः कर्म समग्रं प्रविलीयते ॥

gata-saṅgasya muktasya jñānāvasthita-chetasaḥ yajñāyācharataḥ karma samagraṁ pravilīyate

Of one with attachment dead, harmonious, with his thoughts established in wisdom, his works sacrifices, all action melts away.

In plain words: Krishna says that when a person's attachments are gone and his mind rests in wisdom, he does all his work as an offering. Then his actions no longer leave any binding effect on him.
