Bhagavad Gita 4.21

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः। शारीरं केवलं कर्म कुर्वन्नाप्नोति किल्बिषम् ॥

nirāśhīr yata-chittātmā tyakta-sarva-parigrahaḥ śhārīraṁ kevalaṁ karma kurvan nāpnoti kilbiṣham

Hoping for naught, his mind and self controlled, having abandoned all greed, performing action by the body alone, he doth not commit sin.

In plain words: Krishna says that a person who expects nothing, controls his mind, and has let go of greed does no wrong. Only his body does the work. His heart is not grabbing for gain.
