← Yoga through the Perfection of Renunciation and Surrender

Bhagavad Gita 18.12

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

अनिष्टमिष्टं मिश्रं च त्रिविधं कर्मणः फलम्। भवत्यत्यागिनां प्रेत्य न तु संन्यासिनां क्वचित् ॥

aniṣhṭam iṣhṭaṁ miśhraṁ cha tri-vidhaṁ karmaṇaḥ phalam bhavaty atyāgināṁ pretya na tu sannyāsināṁ kvachit

Good, evil and mixed—threefold is the fruit of action hereafter for the non-relinquisher; but there is none ever for the renouncer.

In plain words: Krishna says people who cling to results get good, bad or mixed results after death. People who truly let go get no such results that bind them.
