Bhagavad Gita 14.23

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

उदासीनवदासीनो गुणैर्यो न विचाल्यते। गुणा वर्तन्त इत्येव योऽवतिष्ठति नेङ्गते ॥

udāsīna-vad āsīno guṇair yo na vichālyate guṇā vartanta ity evaṁ yo ’vatiṣhṭhati neṅgate

He who, seated as a neutral, is unshaken by the qualities; who, saying, "The qualities revolve," standeth apart immovable.

In plain words: Krishna says this person sits calmly, like an onlooker, and is not shaken by the qualities. They tell themselves, "These are just the qualities moving around," and stay steady and apart.
