Bhagavad Gita 13.31

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

यदा भूतपृथग्भावमेकस्थमनुपश्यति। तत एव च विस्तारं ब्रह्म सम्पद्यते तदा ॥

yadā bhūta-pṛithag-bhāvam eka-stham anupaśhyati tata eva cha vistāraṁ brahma sampadyate tadā

When he perceiveth the diversified existence of beings as rooted in One, and spreading forth from it, then he reacheth the Eternal

In plain words: When a person sees that all the different beings come from One source and grow out of it, that person reaches the Eternal, Brahman.
