Shvetashvatara Upanishad 6.14

The sun does not shine there, nor the moon and the stars, nor these lightnings, and much less this fire. When he shines, everything shines after him; by his light all this is lightened.

In plain words: In God's world, the sun, moon, stars, lightning and fire give no light of their own. God is the true light. Everything else shines only because he shines.
