Katha Upanishad 2.3.12
He (the Self) cannot be reached by speech, by mind, or by the eye. How can it be apprehended except by him who says: "He is?"
In plain words: The Self cannot be reached by words, by thinking or by seeing. It can only be grasped by someone who firmly accepts that it exists.
