Chandogya Upanishad 7.23.1

'The Infinite (bhûman) is bliss. There is no bliss in anything finite. Infinity only is bliss. This Infinity, however, we must desire to understand.' 'Sir, I desire to understand it.'

In plain words: The teacher says that true joy is the Infinite, called bhuman, meaning that which has no limits. There is no real joy in anything small or limited. Only the Infinite is joy. Narada says he wants to understand the Infinite.
