Nârada approached Sanatkumâra and said, 'Teach me, Sir!' Sanatkumâra said to him: 'Please to tell me what you know; afterward I shall tell you what is beyond.'
In plain words: Narada, a famous sage, comes to the teacher Sanatkumara and asks to be taught. Sanatkumara asks him first to say what he already knows, so he can teach him what lies beyond it.
