Chandogya Upanishad 5.12.1

'Aupamanyava, whom do you meditate on as the Self?' He replied: 'Heaven only, venerable king.' He said: 'The Self which you meditate on is the Vaisvânara Self, called Sutegas (having good light). Therefore every kind of Soma libation is seen in your house.

In plain words: King Asvapati asks the scholar Aupamanyava what he worships as the Self, the deepest reality. He says heaven. The king answers that heaven is one part of Vaisvanara, the universal Self present in all things, called 'the one with good light,' and that this is why his house is full of rituals.
