Brihadaranyaka Upanishad 3.9.25

Yagnavalkya said: 'O Ahallika, when you think the heart could be anywhere else away from us, if it were away from us, the dogs might eat it, or the birds tear it.'

In plain words: Yagnavalkya calls Sakalya a fool (Ahallika) for thinking the heart could rest somewhere outside us. If the heart were away from the body, he says, dogs or birds could eat it.
