Vidura Niti 4.6

Vidura speaking to King Dhritarashtra

The very gods desire his company, who, stung with reproach, returneth it not himself nor causeth others to return it, or who being struck doth not himself return the blow nor causeth other to do it, and who wisheth not the slightest injury to him that injureth him.

In plain words: Even the gods want to be near someone who does not insult back when insulted and does not hit back when struck. Such a person does not get others to take revenge either, and wishes no harm to the one who hurt them.
