Vidura Niti 4.30

Vidura speaking to King Dhritarashtra

Beholding Draupadi won at dice, I told thee before, O king, these words,—They that are honest avoid deceit in play. Therefore, stop Duryodhana! Thou didst not, however, act according to my words. That is not strength which is opposed to softness. On the other hand, strength mixed with softness constitutes true policy which should ever be pursued. That prosperity which is dependent on crookedness alone is destined to be destroyed.

In plain words: Vidura reminds Dhritarashtra that when Draupadi (wife of the Pandava brothers) was won in the dice game, he warned him that honest people do not cheat in games and told him to stop his son Duryodhana, but the king did not listen. Vidura says real strength is mixed with gentleness, and wealth built only on crooked ways will be destroyed.
