Bhagavad Gita 6.40

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

श्री भगवानुवाच पार्थ नैवेह नामुत्र विनाशस्तस्य विद्यते। नहि कल्याणकृत्कश्िचद्दुर्गतिं तात गच्छति ॥

pārtha naiveha nāmutra vināśhas tasya vidyate na hi kalyāṇa-kṛit kaśhchid durgatiṁ tāta gachchhati

O son of Prithâ, neither in this world nor in the life to come is there destruction for him; never doth any who worketh righteousness, O beloved, tread the path of woe.

In plain words: Krishna tells Arjuna, the son of Pritha, that such a person is never destroyed, not in this life or the next. Anyone who does good never ends up on a path of misery.
