Bhagavad Gita 6.24

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

सङ्कल्पप्रभवान्कामांस्त्यक्त्वा सर्वानशेषतः। मनसैवेन्द्रियग्रामं विनियम्य समन्ततः ॥

saṅkalpa-prabhavān kāmāns tyaktvā sarvān aśheṣhataḥ manasaivendriya-grāmaṁ viniyamya samantataḥ

Abandoning without reserve all desires born of the imagination, by the mind curbing in the aggregate of the senses on every side,

In plain words: Krishna says to completely drop the desires that come from imagining things. Use the mind to pull back all the senses from every direction.
