Bhagavad Gita 2.55

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

श्री भगवानुवाच प्रजहाति यदा कामान् सर्वान् पार्थ मनोगतान्। आत्मन्येवात्मना तुष्टः स्थितप्रज्ञस्तदोच्यते ॥

prajahāti yadā kāmān sarvān pārtha mano-gatān ātmany-evātmanā tuṣhṭaḥ sthita-prajñas tadochyate

When a man abandoneth, O Pârtha, all the desires of the heart, and is satisfied in the Self by the Self, then is he called stable in mind.

In plain words: Krishna, called by Arjuna's family name Pārtha, is spoken to here, and Krishna answers. A person has a steady mind when they let go of all their cravings and feel content within themselves, without needing things from outside.
