Bhagavad Gita 2.5

Arjuna speaking to Krishna

gurūnahatvā hi mahānubhāvān śhreyo bhoktuṁ bhaikṣhyamapīha loke hatvārtha-kāmāṁstu gurūnihaiva bhuñjīya bhogān rudhira-pradigdhān

Better in this world to eat even the beggar's crust than to slay these most noble Gurus. Slaying these Gurus, our well-wishers, I should taste of blood-besprinkled feasts.

In plain words: Arjuna says it would be better to live as a beggar than to kill his noble teachers, who wish him well. Any riches he won by killing them would feel stained with their blood.
