Bhagavad Gita 2.16

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सतः। उभयोरपि दृष्टोऽन्तस्त्वनयोस्तत्त्वदर्शिभिः ॥

nāsato vidyate bhāvo nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ ubhayorapi dṛiṣhṭo ’nta stvanayos tattva-darśhibhiḥ

The unreal hath no being; the real never ceaseth to be; the truth about both hath been perceived by the seers of the essence of things.

In plain words: Things that are not real do not truly exist, and what is truly real never stops existing. People who see deeply into things have understood the difference.
