Bhagavad Gita 18.58

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि। अथ चेत्त्वमहङ्कारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि ॥

mach-chittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi mat-prasādāt tariṣhyasi atha chet tvam ahankārān na śhroṣhyasi vinaṅkṣhyasi

Thinking on Me, thou shalt overcome all obstacles by My grace: but if from egoism thou wilt not listen, thou shalt be destroyed utterly.

In plain words: Krishna tells Arjuna that if he keeps his mind on Krishna, God's help will carry him past every difficulty. But if pride makes him refuse to listen, he will ruin himself completely.
