Bhagavad Gita 18.21

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

पृथक्त्वेन तु यज्ज्ञानं नानाभावान्पृथग्विधान्। वेत्ति सर्वेषु भूतेषु तज्ज्ञानं विद्धि राजसम् ॥

pṛithaktvena tu yaj jñānaṁ nānā-bhāvān pṛithag-vidhān vetti sarveṣhu bhūteṣhu taj jñānaṁ viddhi rājasam

But that knowledge which regardeth the several manifold existences in all beings as separate, that knowledge know thou as of passion;

In plain words: Knowledge driven by passion sees all beings only as separate and different from each other. It misses the one reality that joins them.
