Bhagavad Gita 16.5

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

दैवी सम्पद्विमोक्षाय निबन्धायासुरी मता। मा शुचः सम्पदं दैवीमभिजातोऽसि पाण्डव ॥

daivī sampad vimokṣhāya nibandhāyāsurī matā mā śhuchaḥ sampadaṁ daivīm abhijāto ’si pāṇḍava

The divine properties are deemed to be for liberation, the demoniacal for bondage. Grieve not, thou art born with divine properties, O Pândava.

In plain words: Krishna says godly qualities lead to freedom, and demonic qualities keep a person trapped. He comforts Arjuna: do not worry, you were born with godly qualities.
