Bhagavad Gita 16.1

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

श्री भगवानुवाच अभयं सत्त्वसंशुद्धिः ज्ञानयोगव्यवस्थितिः। दानं दमश्च यज्ञश्च स्वाध्यायस्तप आर्जवम् ॥

abhayaṁ sattva-sanśhuddhir jñāna-yoga-vyavasthitiḥ dānaṁ damaśh cha yajñaśh cha svādhyāyas tapa ārjavam

Fearlessness, cleanness of life, steadfastness in the Yoga of wisdom, almsgiving, self-restraint and sacrifice and study of the Scriptures, austerity and straightforwardness,

In plain words: Krishna starts listing the good qualities of a godly person: being fearless, living cleanly, staying steady in seeking wisdom, giving to others, self-control, making offerings, studying scripture, simple self-discipline, and honesty.
