Bhagavad Gita 11.54

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

भक्त्या त्वनन्यया शक्यमहमेवंविधोऽर्जुन। ज्ञातुं दृष्टुं च तत्त्वेन प्रवेष्टुं च परंतप ॥

bhaktyā tv ananyayā śhakya aham evaṁ-vidho ’rjuna jñātuṁ draṣhṭuṁ cha tattvena praveṣhṭuṁ cha parantapa

But by devotion to Me alone I may thus be perceived, Arjuna, and known and seen in essence, and entered, O Parantapa.

In plain words: Krishna says that only through loving devotion to him alone can a person truly know him, see him as he really is, and become one with him. Parantapa means 'conqueror of foes,' a name for Arjuna.
