Bhagavad Gita 11.48

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

Nor sacrifice, nor Vedas, alms, nor works, Nor sharp austerity, nor study deep, Can win the vision of this Form for man, Foremost of Kurus, thou alone hast seen.

In plain words: Krishna says that no ritual offering, study of the Vedas (the ancient holy books), charity, good deeds or harsh self-denial can earn the sight of this form. Arjuna alone has seen it.
