Bhagavad Gita 10.23

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

रुद्राणां शङ्करश्चास्मि वित्तेशो यक्षरक्षसाम्। वसूनां पावकश्चास्मि मेरुः शिखरिणामहम् ॥

rudrāṇāṁ śhaṅkaraśh chāsmi vitteśho yakṣha-rakṣhasām vasūnāṁ pāvakaśh chāsmi meruḥ śhikhariṇām aham

And of the Rudras Shañkara am I; Vittesha of the Yakshas and Râkshasas; and of the Vasus I am Pâvaka; Meru of high mountains am I.

In plain words: Krishna says that among the Rudras, gods of storm and change, He is Shankara (Shiva). Among nature spirits and giants, He is Kubera (Vittesha), lord of wealth. Among the Vasus, gods of the elements, He is fire. Among tall mountains, He is the sacred Mount Meru.
