Bhagavad Gita 10.21

Krishna speaking to Arjuna

आदित्यानामहं विष्णुर्ज्योतिषां रविरंशुमान्। मरीचिर्मरुतामस्मि नक्षत्राणामहं शशी ॥

ādityānām ahaṁ viṣhṇur jyotiṣhāṁ ravir anśhumān marīchir marutām asmi nakṣhatrāṇām ahaṁ śhaśhī

Of the Adityas I am Vishnu; of radiances the glorious sun; I am Marîchi of the Maruts; of the asterisms the Moon am I.

In plain words: Krishna begins listing the best things in which He shows Himself. Among the sky gods called Adityas, He is Vishnu. Among lights, He is the sun. Among the storm gods called Maruts, He is Marichi. Among the stars at night, He is the moon.
