Bhagavad Gita 1.2

Sanjaya speaking to King Dhritarashtra

दृष्ट्वा तु पाण्डवानीकं व्यूढं दुर्योधनस्तदा। आचार्यमुपसङ्गम्य राजा वचनमब्रवीत् ॥

dṛiṣhṭvā tu pāṇḍavānīkaṁ vyūḍhaṁ duryodhanastadā āchāryamupasaṅgamya rājā vachanamabravīt

Having seen arrayed the army of the Pândavas, the Prince Duryodhana approached his teacher, and spake these words:

In plain words: Sanjaya begins his report. Prince Duryodhana, the king's eldest son, sees the Pandava army lined up for battle and goes to speak to his teacher, Drona.
